LOWELL -- JOI Franchising, LLC, owner and franchisor of the Jump
On In!
child party centers, announced that it has landed its first
regional
developer deal.
The company said the deal will allow it open at least six new
Jump On
In! party centers in Texas, with the first scheduled for Sugar
Land, a
suburb of Houston.
Kevin Lynch, president of JOI Franchising, said in a statement
that the
regional developer, Carol Sumrall, "is an excellent addition to the
Jump
On In team and brings a wealth of experience to the table for
us.
"Texas is a big state and we expect big things from Carol."
Lynch, of Westford, started the franchise with his wife,
Carla.
The Sugar Land facility, which is not yet open, includes more
than
11,000 square feet of slides, obstacle courses, trampoline
basketball,
table games and bouncers.
Separately, JOI announced that it also launched a new program
called
"Jump & Learn." The program includes jumping combined with a
learning
session including hands-on activities such as live animal shows,
science
experiments and art projects.
The first Jump On In! facility opened on Phoenix Avenue in
Lowell in
January 2005. Additional centers have since been added regionally
in
Woburn, Haverhill and Nashua, with a fifth in Boonton, N.J.
